Chanel Visser is a Senior Marine Field Ranger in Plettenberg Bay. She presents an introduction to the diverse and ever-growing roles and responsibilities of a field ranger and a focus on her career highlights and opportunities over the past 3 years, including marine animal strandings and success stories, monitoring and research projects, compliance monitoring and report feedback, as well as assistance in marine conservation management. This presentation will take you deep into the world of a marine conservationist with stories of the highs and lows of this demanding and  busy career and life of responsibility. It is a huge challenge to make an impact in conservation, and for Chanel it is a true honour to be able to do so.
