Dolphin Real Estate

Do different species complete for the same habitats?

Join Alejandra to find out where the dolphins hang out, what they get up to and insights into their coexistence. Understanding how different species can live together in the same area is really important for scientists. For example, two types of dolphins, the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin and the Indian Ocean humpback dolphin, live along the south-east coast of South Africa. Researchers wanted to know more about how these dolphins manage to share the same living space.
