ABOUT ANJE MINNE

Anje Minne brings over 11 years of expertise in environmental management to her role as Environmental Management Officer for Bitou Municipality. Within the Land Use Management Department of the Planning and Development Directorate, she plays a key role in ensuring responsible development practices.

Her focus lies on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. As a qualified and designated Environmental Management Inspector (Green Scorpion), Ms. Minne enforces both the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA) and Specific Environmental Management Acts (SEMAs) relating to Integrated Coastal Management, Biodiversity, Air Quality and Waste Management within the municipality's jurisdiction. Her dedication to environmental protection aims to ensure sustainable development practices within the Bitou Municipality.
