Saving Marion Island's Seabirds

Marion Island is home to globally important seabird populations, but invasive house mice are causing severe ecological damage, including predation on chicks and adult birds. We welcome back Dr Anton Wolfaardt for an update on the Mouse-Free Marion Project, an ambitious initiative to remove invasive mice from the island, first presented at the symposium five years ago.  He highlights the scientific planning, logistical challenges, and international collaboration behind one of the world’s most complex island restoration efforts.
