ABOUT KATHIE PEARD AND BRONWEN CURRIE
Kathie Peard and Bronwen Currie are marine scientists with more than four decades of combined experience across coastal, estuarine, and deep-sea environments. Their work spans multiple continents and vessel-based research campaigns, with a strong focus on marine ecosystem dynamics. They are currently based in the Keurbooms Estuary, where they continue to study estuarine ecology and contribute to long-term coastal research in South Africa.
