C2R Against All Odds

The Cape2Rio is one of the most challenging offshore yacht races in the world, testing endurance, teamwork, and strategy over thousands of kilometres of open ocean. ABOUT SIBU SIZATU

Sibusiso Sizatu is an accomplished South African sailor, and skipper of the Alexforbes Angel Wings crew, with 18 years of competitive sailing experience. Born in Qumbu and based in Cape Town, he has competed in multiple national and international campaigns, including the Lipton Cup and Cape2Rio races. An instructor at the RCYC Sailing Academy, he is dedicated to mentoring young sailors and expanding access to the sport.
